I think, there is a holy circle and the art revolves on it. When you start from one point, you have to touch another one on this circle. I mean, lots of artists are related. Here is a list of them related:
1.Hemingway, 2.Baudelaire, 3.Trakl, 4.Pearl Jam, 5.Van Gogh, 6.Sabato, 7.Dostoyevsky, 8.Coppola, 9.Jesus, 10.Sophokles
Someone may ask me: "What the fuck connection is there between Pearl Jam and Ernesto Sabato?" I am to tell you. get it: this is a part of the interwiew given by Pj after the Pinkpop in 1992:
"Reporter: It's just one out of five and two out of five now, the whole band. You did a mm... well a match. Well, I just called it a match, it's like five wild bulls on a stage.
Jeff: That's what we've, we...
Reporter: Pardon ?
Jeff: We're reading a lot of Hemingway at the time and we're reading about bullfights and Spain and we couldn't affort to go to Spain so we just rounded up five guys to recreate the... the bullfight.
Eddie: (I say you could say..)
Reporter: Now Eddie,... Pardon ?
Eddie: We're heavily Hemingway inspired. "
Also Hemingway is loved by Sabato, Sabato makes his character sad when he read the announcement of Hemingway's death on newspaper. We know that this death is so sad for Sabato in real life.
Nacho (a character of Sabato) pins up a picture of Trakl on his wall. He also has a love affair with his sister as Trakl.
Trakl read Dostoyevsky when he was a pupil, used Dostoyevsky's Sonja in his poems.
Dostoyevsky refers to Jesus and Jesus might have been refer to Sophokles(I suppose he did it).
They all had tried to understand the meaning of life. They all looked for logic, and finally understood that the world isn't logical.

holy circle, ja.
you are right.
and probably there is a point where we get involved with art too, and we become a part of it... and nobody could be able to explain the weird conections between art and reality
