As Valeria has reminded me of Yusuf Atilgan, I will try to write something about him.

Most of people know him of his first published novel named Aylak Adam (The Loiterer). The main character nicknamed "C." is so cool and strong with his pain and awareness that he strongly impresses us; and some of us ,in a period of his life, may have thought of being 'C.'

This mood , however, can damage you if you don't have enough capacity to overcome it. It is like being communist, you should walk out of it till 18. Don't try it alone in home, and be yourself. Ok, nevermind.

Yusuf Atılgan (1921-1989) graduated in Turkish language and literature from Istanbul University and then began teaching literature in a military school. He was accused of being a communist, and put in prison. After being free, he settled down his village and lived there untill 1976.

His works: Aylak Adam(1959), Anayurt Oteli(Motherland Hotel)(1973), Canistan(2000); such short stories , a child book and a translation named Art in Society.

An underlined part from Aylak Adam: "we are just as passing over an unbanistered bridge"
And an qu0te, someone asks him about women novelists that scarcely write, he answers: "fine, they live instead of writing"

I know how much means Atilgan for you.

As you mark, the biggest problem is confusing reality with fiction, it happened to Don Quijote, you know.

"Don't try it alone in home" and "Be Yourself"... i can't be more agree with you.
